I saw a lot of amazing work and met a ton of incredible people at WPPI again this year. By far, one of the most moving things I saw there (and have seen in quite some time for that matter) is this album by Dawn Shields. I’ll just embed the video and you can experience it for yourself. You are so right about this. To see the album in this format is great but to have experienced seeing it at the awards presentation on 4 big screens in a room of over a thousand people that was completely silent was powerful.
This is one of the best albums/books I have ever seen. And to know the raw emotion that was put into it by Dawn and what she was thinking while she created it is amazing.
Seeing this album and the work that Pictage and their photographers did with the Boys and Girls Club was the highlight of my trip to Vegas and made it all worth while.
